About Me

Yasmin Qureshi: I’m Labour’s Member of Parliament for Bolton South East. Prior to the general election I worked as a barrister, most recently in Manchester. For 20 years I have done voluntary legal work for law centres and the Citizens Advice Bureau and worked for the United Nations Mission in Kosovo. I have also been a Governor of a college and three schools. Since being elected I have joined the House of Commons Justice Select Committee.
